ABOUT US
Born in 1981, our club was created by a community of wanderers, searching for outstanding waves, here in the Northern Sea.
40 years later, EUWSC is now a club with more than 250+ members that runs trips, lessons, socials and many other things.
This community is unique and one of its kind: if you decide to join, it will definitely play a big role in your University experience.

THINGS WE DO
From lessons, to trips, socials & many other things, our club will keep you busy all year long
LESSONS
As a club, we warmly welcome beginner surfers and windsurfers. We run surf lessons, taught by our very own qualified surf instructors and windsurf lessons with our partners in Port Edgar; a local school that shares our passion for getting new people in the water. Sign-ups are done through our Instagram/Facebook page so stay tuned!
TRIPS
Searching for new waves or wind spots means we travel all over Scotland & many other places. We organise a trip to the beautiful north coast of Scotland every semester, along with a yearly trip to Newquay. There is also an international trip at the end of each academic year, previous locations include Morocco and Portugal. Whatever your choice, there is plenty oppurtunity to make amazing memories!
What you need to know
Surf and Windsurf trips will require you to have a club membership, otherwise, you will not be able to sign up for the trips.

SOCIALS
Every two weeks, our club meets up for a pint and boogie. It's a good way to meet new people in the club & get to know each other. The events will be published on our Instagram/Facebook page at the beginning of each week, so stay tuned to make sure you don't miss any nights of good fun! We also have coffee mornings and lunchtime walks around campus.
SURF SKATE
Come join us every other week to work on your surfing technique with some surf skate lessons with Seb! Seb is a highly experienced surfer and skater and is dedicated to surf skate coaching as a way of helping people rapidly progress with their surfing technique and style. This session is ideal for everyone, from improving beginners, to all you seasoned shredders out there!
